Katherine (KT) Crossman is a founding partner at Community Law Office, LLC. KT focuses on representing parents and children involved with the Department of Children and Families. KT is involved in several projects locally and nationally, and has worked with the Boston Coalition for Police Accountability and Dorchester People for Peace. KT has served on the board of the Massachusetts chapter of the National Lawyers Guild and the LGBTQ Bar Association Board.
Prior to opening this office, KT was an intern at the ACLU of Massachusetts, Pine Tree Legal Assistance in Portland, ME, the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty in Washington, D.C., and the Restorative Justice Project of Midcoast Maine. KT is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, holds a Master of Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine, and is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Maine. When not practicing law, KT enjoys learning to grow tomatoes and baking bread.
Maddie Thomson is a founding partner at Community Law Office, LLC. Maddie focuses on immigration law and workers’ rights. She represents immigrants in court and those seeking affirmative benefits. She also represents workers who are victims of wage theft and other violations of workplace laws. Maddie speaks Spanish.
Prior to opening this office, Maddie worked at South Coastal Counties Legal Services. Maddie also interned with the Workers’ Center in New Orleans, Roxbury Defenders, and the Brazilian Immigrants Center. She is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law.
